NeuroSomatic Integration

What Is NeuroSomatic Integration?

NeuroSomatic integration is a healing modality developed by Dr. Sam Zoranovich that uses gentle touch, movement, somatic awareness, and dialogging to help you notice patterns of body protection that are usually unconscious and rooted in the nervous system’s need for safety and protection, and gradually disarm those protection patterns by showing the body that right now, right here, it’s safe enough to lower the guard. ‘Neuro’ refers to the nervous system—how your brain and body communicate. ‘Somatic’ refers to the body as experienced from the inside—your felt sense of yourself.

NSI works on the premise that the body doesn’t just hold pain physically—it holds experience. Tension patterns, protective postures, and chronic pain are often the physical expression of what the nervous system has learned to expect from the world.

How Sessions Work

Sessions typically involve hands-on movement and touch, pausing to check in with your felt sense and internal experience, guiding attention to areas of the body that are holding, dialoging about the experience, and supporting the integration of structural changes with nervous system shifts.
